Can you believe that it is the middle of November already! This certainly has been a year that has flown by.

My new kit is called "SO HAPPY TOGETHER". It is a lovely fresh cool coloured layout that accomadates 3 horizontal photos. As the title implies it is themed around "together". I made use of sepia photos but you are not restricted to that. The background colour of the layout is white, although the photo doesn't reflect that very well.

There are 2 main techniques on the layout. The first one is the rosette flowers, which I have done in a kit previously, but have since discovered an easier and more effective way of doing. Once you know how to do these flowers you can use them on other layouts and even greeting cards too.

The second technique involves creating paper tubes from patterned paper. These are packed tighly together to form an interesting accent.

It has been a bit longer than usual since my last kit! I guess life is just busy!!!

My new kit is called PARADISE FOUND and themed around a beach day or holiday. The beautiful grey blue papers emphasize the relaxed feel of the layout and would suit colour and black and white photos. The layout can accomodate 5 photos.

The use of net on the layout further enhances the beach or seaside feel.

I have included carbon paper in the kit to allow you to transfer the word FOUND onto the page. The script font also adds to the relaxed feel of the layout.

My newest kit is definitely for the girls! It is a very feminine layout that will suit both young and older girls. The layout is called "SHE LOVES TO...". The colouring is pinks and greys and black and white photos work perfectly. The layout allows for 6 photos, 5 of which are small squares.

The main technique used on the layout is paper curling. I have made a curled fringe along the bottom of the photo mounts as well as accent pieces on the blocks.

I have also made use of a masking technique to create one of the blocks on the right page as well as to add words to the title.
In the kit I have included other printed words such as Dream, Smile, Play etc, to complete the title.

Well, spring is definitely in the air and I am sure you are all feeling the energy and motivation creep back into your body....such a good feeling!

My new kit is dedicated to all the Dads around. I haven't done anything for Dad in a long time so it is defintely due. The kit allows for 4 photos and makes use of masculine blues and greens. It is simply called DAD.

The kit involves using a bleaching technique which some of you may have done with me before, but if not it is fairly simple. You just must take care to protect your clothing and work area before beginning with the bleach. Normal household bleach is used so it is not necessary to get anything special to create it. All you will need is an atomizer bottle or an old toothbrush.

Some Orange colour has been splashed here and there to add some brightness and emphasis.

Hi everyone,

This months new kit is called LAUGHTER and the title pretty much explains the theme. It is a double page layout featuring a beautiful double sided bracket die-cut. The layout will be suited to some fun photos in either colour or sepia.



Some techniques include creating a pleated accent strip.


Also added interest is created by punching eyelet holes and lining them with colour.

The title is emphasize by it's bold colour and some pen work edging.

.....And I made it.....a second kit for the month of July. That is a accomplishment which I have been struggling to achieve in the last while, so here it is.

The kit is called WINTER DREAMS. The layout consisits of beautiful icy coloured papers that will be just right for the wintery photos you have. Although I have used portrait photos, any winter fun photos will work.

Included are some beautiful Glitter chipboard scrolls to emphasize the icy feel.

A bry brush paint technique also carries the theme through and helps to highight the printed wording.

So the holidays are over. They actaully went by much faster than I expected and before I knew, a month has past since my last kit!!!

The new kit involves using some amazing paper than can be distressed to create great results. This exciting paper is called Core-dinations and allows you to sand over the surface colour to reveal hidden embossed images and journalling. The colouring is black and grey and the kit is called "REAL BEAUTIFUL MEMORIES". It is designed to fit 6 photos themed around a special memory.

The technique involves sanding gently over the surface of the paper to reveal the wording, shown here.

Now for something a little different. This kit is called CLOSE TO MY HEART and it is an altered ring file. It allows for alot of photos and gives you the option of adding extra pages as you require them. It is a fun project which you can adapt to any ring file you may have lying around, although I do provide a file in the kit for you to get started with.
As the title implies, the theme focuses around someone or something that is close to your heart. I have made use of smaller photos as you are slightly restricted by the size of the file. This does create an interesting project and a fantastic gift.

I cannot believe that it is the middle of May already. This year is certainly flying by. Since it is May I decided to work with the theme of Mom's. This time I am hoping that you will use photos of yourself as a Mom with your beautiful children. The kit is called MOM (of 2), although I have made provision in the kit for the number of children you do have.The colouring of the layout is olive greens and pinks and the layout would suit both black and white and sepia photos. Even colour photos would be suitable as long as they coordinate with the layout colouring.Each block on the page is treated individually creating an interesting layout.

Snapshots

Okay it's that time again and I am just loving this paper!!! The newest kit is available and it is called SNAPSHOTS OF YOU. This kit is perfect for any photos really, but would suit the layout best if they were printed in black and white. The kit makes use of a number of different size photos to get the maximum effect out of the "snapshot" theme.
By creating pull out envelope pockets you make space to include even more photos.

I do explain in the instructions how you go about cutting your album sleeve so that the envelopes can pull out even when the layout is in the album.

Hi there,

At last I am back on track. It certainly has been a challenging start to the year. Lets hope that things will run a little smoother from here on. The new kit is now available and is called IMAGINE (a moment could last forever). The theme focuses around any special moment that you could have enjoyed for a little longer. Colouring is black, white and yellows, and would suit both colour and sepia photos.

You will make use of a craft knife to create some interesting cut-outs

Hi all you scrappers,
It's March and there has been a definite cooling in the air. So before winter sets in completely I decided to do a layout that would be perfect for some of those summer photos you have lying around. Having said that, the layout is not exclusively for summer pics. The kit is called HAPPY DAYS and would suit any photos depicting a happy/fun occasion.

The layout has a fun relaxed feel about it, making use of bright colours and flower accents.



If you have never tried your hand at DOODLING, here is your opportunity, but don't feel concerned about creating the perfect design..... I have included a transfer technique, taking the stress out of doodling.

Hi all,

2010 is now in full swing and I have finally managed to get the first kit for the year complete. Since we have just had Valentines Day, the kit is themed around LOVE and is called LOVED. Although it would be ideal for romantic photos of the special man in your life, it would work just as well for family or friend photos too. I have made use of sepia photos on my layout but you could use colour photos too. Just take care that the photo colouring compliments well with the strong reds and browns of the layout.

The kit involves quite a bit of tearing and distressing.

You will also incorporate some lacing into the layout

The theme of love is carried through in the large heart outline.
